The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is one example of the many outstanding things that the North Shore-LIJ Health System provides to New York, and to the health care industry in general. They are the research branch of the North Shore – LIJ Health System and they work to bridge the gap between their research and patient care. They use their resources to collaborate with clinicians through the system and to develop all sorts of new therapies and diagnostics.
At the moment, they have more than 800 scientists and investigators conducting research in a wide range of medical fields from pediatrics and oncology to genetics and psychiatry. The Health System, including Board of Trustee members such as Corey Ribotsky, believes in the medical work that they are doing and support their endeavors wholeheartedly.
