The Children’s Medical Fund of NY, where Corey Ribotsky of the NIR Group is the President, was recently very appreciative of Eric Chipman. As the son of CMF Trustee Richard Chipman, Eric decided to celebrate his bar mitzvah with a donation to the Children’s Medical Fund of NY. He donated a portion of his bar mitzvah gifts to this worthy cause, and followed in his parents’ example by doing so.

As the Children’s Medical Fund of NY explained, “This is a perfect example of children helping children.”

Every donation that the Children’s Medical Fund with hard working people like Corey Ribotsky receives helps them to help children. The trustees and the staff of CMF gave a hearty thank you to Eric for his lovely donation.

They presented Eric with a CMF achievement award for his contribution.

Certainly, anyone would enjoy being told to shop, play and eat – all while raising money for an important cause. On August 4th, 2010, this is exactly what supporters of the Children’s Medical Fund of New York, where Corey Ribotsky is the President, were able to do. On the 4th, at the Old Westbury Country Club, supporters were encouraged to enjoy playing Bridge, Mah Jong, Canasta and other games, all while supporting the Child Life Program at the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY.

In addition to the many games, supporters enjoyed a delicious lunch and a chance to shop for many lovely items. This fundraiser helped to ensure the best medical attention for children on Long Island with the Children’s Medical Fund and Corey Ribotsky.

This highly motivated group of self-less citizens worked tirelessly to see their dream through to fruition. It took seventeen years of fund raising, obtaining legislative authorization and dogged determination, but finally the Schneider Children’s Hospital opened in New Hyde Park, New York , in 1983.

Corey Ribotsky of the NIR Group is proud to be part of this dream-come-true, as the president of the CMFNY.
