A supporter of the Onyx and Breezy Foundation, Corey Ribotsky would be proud of what this organization has been doing recently for animals in trouble.  The foundation discovered last week that an animal shelter in LA was in dire straits and had to be shut down as it had been overrun by rats and required immediate extermination.  A plea was thus sent out to rescues in the area to take as many animals as possible, since any left behind would be killed. Thus the Onyx and Breezy Foundation made huge efforts to take a lot of these animals as well as pay for medical treatments etc. to keep them from this fate.

Thankfully the Foundation was somewhat successful, managing to rescue 37 dogs from this terrible shelter. However, it was disappointed that it was unable to save them all, leaving more than 100 to a terrible fate.  What was even more traumatic for the Onyx and Breezy Foundation was that when volunteers arrived on site to help rescue the dogs, some of the dogs were already being destroyed.  The Foundation did not get any warning of this at all.

This is exactly the kind of work that the Onyx and Breezy Foundation engages in all-year round.  By giving a donation, you can help them save more helpless animals.

In addition, last week saw the broadcast of The Screen Actor's Guild Awards on TNT and TBS, where viewers could see other amazing supporters of the foundation (including Betty White).  Onyx and Breezy founders Mark and Wanda will be sitting with Betty too.

In order to raise funds for their cause, Onyx and Breezy organizes events, one of which took place last March in Florida.  The First Annual Onyx and Breezy Foundation Island Gala was one of those special events which was organized to help animals on the island of Sanibel. On hand were more than 150 people, including the founders of Onyx and Breezy, Mark and Wanda Shefts, Corey Ribotsky of NIR, his wife Stacey, and many others.

Fashion’s Night Out at Intermix will include hosts Claudia Brod, Melisse Budin, Jordana Mesner, Lisi Port and Daniella Sredni. Participants are invited to enjoy champagne and light bites as they shop for the latest fall fashions. In total INTERMIX will have 13 different events in cities around the country.
